Our Fifth.

So this time round, it was my turn to plan for our Valentine-Anniversary date. Stressed! I made a list beforehand & tried to contact each of them. Wanted to reserve a table at Prive Cafe, but they didn't answer my calls, so had to source for somewhere else.

Managed to stumble upon this place called Talent Cafe, a 2-storey bistro along Tanjong Pagar. I guessed it was love at first sight, because they have different coloured rooms for different purposes. The lady who answered my call was very friendly. Even though the Valentine's Day menu wasn't out yet when I called, she was very helpful to tell me what every item is going to be on the menu.

I had 12-3pm lesson on Valentine's day, so it was very rushed for me. Managed to get out of the house by 6pm to meet him at the MRT station. We agreed beforehand to buy couple watches together, so we went Citylink's City Chain to look around. Called it telepathy, but we agreed on the same set almost instantly after walking one round of the shop. (:

Walked out of the shop feeling delighted at our new purchase, something that we shared. It was a rainy night, so we huddled under our umbrella & walked towards the cafe after alighting at Tanjong Pagar. (:

Thank you for the wonderful memories. From the bus rides to & fro SR to now the train rides to & fro SIM, thank you for being a great company. Thank you for not giving up on us when things were tough. Thank you for willing to be my listening ear & a helping hand. Whenever I feel sad, I would think of what you said, "Don't give up, turn around & I'll be behind you." These words brought me strength in various possible ways that you can think of.

P.S. Try not to use your phone that often whenever we are together ok? I know it's difficult, but try :P

Bathed & dressed up after coming home from school. YK came & picked me up for our date. We agreed to dress up for such special occasion - blazer & leather shoes for him; dress & high heels for me! (:

Mount Faber to see the scenery, dinner at Safra@Mount Faber, drinks & night stroll at Clarke Quay. I could see that he really put in a lot of effort to plan the date. Touched! Especially the lovely handmade card, I almost teared after reading it.

I can't wait for our next date. haha!

Love brings people together, but forgiveness keeps them there

Our 3rd Valentine-Anniversary dinner date was at Earl Swensen's at Changi Airport. He went Millenia Walk Coffee Bean to pick me up from my study session with Hui Yan, with a stalk of rose in his hand. Kudos to bf for being so sweet!

It was then then I realized that he had actually reserved a table for us, so we didn't have to wait. I was delighted because my tummy was rumbling by the time we reached the Airport. Looking at the long queue outside Earl Swensen's, I was grateful for his thoughtfulness.

I must compliment Earl Swensens too because they were so sweet to give each couple a handmade Vday card & a stalk of red rose. As bf reserved beforehand, there was a mini heart-shape balloon with his name written on it. Even though it was full house, we were assigned to a small booth to enjoy our date. Happy me.

Boyfriend brought me to a nice restaurant called Fin at Marina Square. It certainly has a nice ambience that both of us like. Plus, we love the seafood too! Highly recommended by me for first date. haha.

Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning. Anyone can catch your eye, but it takes someone special to catch your heart. Glad to have you with me all this while! hugs.

my day was filled with surprises! (:

surprise #1: he cooked for me

the fried rice that he cooked turned out to be yummy, suits my taste!

we caught the 3pm Breakout show at the Esplande. the choreography & the lightings were awesome. i wouldn't mind watching it again. plus, the view that we had was great. (: He bought the Breakout souvenirs for us!

surprise #2: he brought me for a ride on the Singapore Flyer

he knew i always wanted to board the Flyer since last year. so sweet of him, right?

then we went Swensens for dinner because i wanted to try the chocolate fondue. it was pretty yummy though we were quite full at that moment.

last but not least, what's valentine's day without the presence of flowers?
though some people may think otherwise, but personally, i am in favour of receiving flowers. haha. even one stalk can make my day! (:
