CNY eve was, as usual, one of the best times i ever had during the CNY period. Steamboat reunion dinner & yu sheng after that! (: thumbs up. taking family portraits during special occasions is the 'in' thing now in my extended family.
CNY day01's main highlight was the lion dance troupe. After which, we went down to my grandma's place. A visit to the Tampines temple before heading to my ahma's house. The weather was terribly warm & everywhere felt stuffy. dinner was vegetarian affair because quite a number of my relatives (including my family & me) were vegetarians for the whole day (: don't worry, there are veg. pineapple tarts, seaweed crackers etc for us to munch on. YK dropped by at night to give me my present!
CNY day02 was a trip to a temple in Boon Lay. Had lunch at Jurong Point before meeting up with JW & Xiang for CNY house visiting. YK came over to 拜年 and we started taking pictures.
CNY day03 was off to temple to pray my grandma before aunt & cousin Fang came over for a visit. left around 5pm to YK house for CNY visiting with some of his camp mates. started playing mahjong after the homecooked dinner that his mum specially prepared for us.
this week was a rather busy week for me. Sentosa Wavehouse & vegetarian dinner with yk & his camp mates. we left there after 2hours, so too bad i didn't have the chance to explore the new Sentosa, which i really wanted to! CNY visit to his aunt's house at CCK.
there are many more things that i want to do, but there's just not enough time. why are weekends so short?
